After his wife Brooke Mueller entered rehab, Charlie Sheen also decided to get treatment, according to his publicist.
Sheen's rep. said, “As a preventative measure, Charlie Sheen has entered a rehabilitation facility. He will take some time off his series Two and a Half Men. He has asked that his privacy be honored. No further statements are planned.“
The "Two and a Half Men" star was formally charged in Aspen for the Dec. 25 incident in which he attacked his wife Brooke and threatened to kill her.
The production of his show is temporarily suspended and TMZ reports that he "will spend two weeks in rehab. We're told he will get outpatient treatment once he checks out."
