"Deadliest Catch” star Phil Harris dies; He was 53

"Deadliest Catch” star Phil Harris passed away after suffering a stroke last month. He was 53 years-old. (February 9)
Harris' kids, Jake and Josh, tell TMZ, "It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our dad, Captain Phil Harris. Dad has always been a fighter and continued to be until the end. For us and the crew, he was someone who never backed down. We will remember and celebrate that strength. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers."
Harris also underwent 12-hour emergency surgery and lately, good news of progress was seen of Harris but sadly he passed away.

Harris is the Captain F/V Cornelia Marie and he starred on Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch” for five seasons.
