“Growing Pains” actor Andrew Koenig is the dead body found at the Stanley Park in Vancouver, Canada (February 25). He was 41 years old.
Andrew has been missing since February 14 and his parents and friends made a public pleas for his return. Andrew is reportedly suffering from depression.
Andrew's father Walter Koenig confirmed about his son's suicide in a press conference, "My son took his own life. He was obviously in a lot of pain."
Walter also plea to anyone suffering depression, "If you can't handle it anymore, there are people out there who really really care. So before you make a final decision check it out again and talk to someone."
