The new web-slinger that will save the day and will be hated by Daily Bugle's J. Jonah Jameson is Andrew Garfield. The 26-year-old actor will play the role of Peter Parker in the upcoming "Spider-Man" reboot.
The studio will release the film in 3D and will be helm by Marc Webb. Production is set later this year for July 3, 2012 release.
"Though his name may be new to many, those who know this young actor's work understand his extraordinary talents," Webb said of Garfield. "He has a rare combination of intelligence, wit and humanity."Some of Garfield's previous projects are "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus," "Lions for Lambs," "The Other Boleyn Girl" and he also included in the upcoming film "The Social Network" with Justin Timberlake.
