According to celebrity cosmetic surgeon Vicki Belo, the procedure were part of an effort to make her "naturally round face" more narrow.

So of course there is tremendous pressure."In a new development, a rep. for Charice release a statement denying the Botox is to change her appearance. The reason for the procedure is "to relieve a jaw problem similar to TMJ."
"It did not hurt; it relieved the pain," Charice's rep tells Us. "You've seen her face - she doesn't have a wrinkle in it so she wouldn't need it for cosmetic purposes. The Glee people are thrilled with the way she looks which is why she got the part."I'm one of the millions of fans of Charice. Early procedures especially on her face is questionable. Does she really need it?"
