comedian Redford White has died; He was 54

Veteran Filipino comedian Redford White (real name: Cipriano Cermeno) has died on Sunday morning July 25 after the battling the Big C (brain and lung cancer). He was 54.

He was one the top comedians in the late 70's until the 90's. His memorable TV gigs are "Iskul Bukol" and Buddy en Sol with Eric Quizon.

He was last seen on television in the ABS-CBN primetime programs “Kokey” (2007) and “Palos” (2008).

Some of Redford White's movie credits includes “Tartan,” “Wrong Rangers,” “Rambo Tan-go,” “Darakula,” “Hee-Man: Master of None,” “Tar-San,” “Ala eh... Con Bisoy! Hale-hale-hoy!: Laging panalo ang mga unggoy,” “Haba-baba-doo! Puti-puti-poo!” and “I Do, I Die (Diyos ko Day).”

Redford's last movie is "Iskul Bukol: 20 Years After (The Ungasis and Escaleras Adventure)".
