Previously announced by her lawyer that Rihanna will appear if she is required to testify, yesterday 21-year-old Barbadian beauty officially got served to appear in court for assault case against ex-beau Chris Brown.
Rihanna's lawyer Donald Etra confirmed to People, "Rihanna was served at my office by L.A. DA investigators," Etra says. "If the preliminary hearing indeed goes forward, she is now legally required to be there, she will be there, and will answer all questions truthfully."
The June 22 hearing will determine if the evidence and Rihanna's testimony will lift the case to trial.
