Two standing ovation for Charice Pempengco at “David Foster and Friends” benefit concert

Charice Pempengco who just recently turned 16 hits another international achievement when she gave another performance with musician/record producer David Foster and other world known artist for a benefit concert at The Event Center in Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas(May 23, 2008).

Almost 10,000 audience of the “David Foster and Friends” benefit concert gave Charice two standing ovation and cheers for her great performance. She sang a medley of Whitney Houston's hits like "I Will Always Love You" and "I Have Nothing". She also sung "And I Am Telling You" from the original soundtrack of "Dreamgirls".

The concert also features spectacular artist like Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelle, Michael Buble, Kenny G, American Idol Katharine McPhee, American Idol finalist Michael Johns, Babyface, Brian McKnight and many more...
David Foster even said, “Tonight, a star is born”.

Josh Groban said "I had the great pleasure of being able to stand inside behind the stage when she was performing... she has a beautiful voice".
