Lucida DS Glutathione management is filing a libel lawsuit against Korina Sanchez

The exclusive and explosive report of ABS-CBN newscaster Korina Sanchez about glutathione products that uses less than the claimed content posted on its bottle is creating media tension to different personalities.

The affected company on the said controversy is United Shelter Health Products who sells Lucida DS Glutathione and Vaniderm.

On the said report, the glutathione content on the bottle label of Lucinda DS indicates 500 mg but the test conducted by Philippine Institute of Pure and Applied Chemistry (PIPAC) reveals that it only contains 4.4 mg. The discrepancy is to high.

Also in that report only MET Tathione product passed the test.

Senior Vice President Ms. Maribel Galindez and their business partners will be filing a libel suit against Korina Sanchez in different parts of the Philippines.

PEP reports that it will be filed in Polomolok, Davao, Iloilo, General Santos City, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Iligan, Koronadal and Zamboanga.

Distributors in Malaysia, Dubai and U.S. is also thinking on filing a case.


Newly signed Gabby Concepcion and Sen. Loren Legarda is the product endorser of Lucida DS Glutathione. For Vaniderm, Toni Gonzaga and Maui Taylor.
