Parvati Shallow won "Survivor: Micronesia Islands"

25-year-old former female boxer and charity organizer Parvati Shallow won Survivor: Micronesia and take home $1 million grand prize.

This is the first edition of fans vs. favorites. Parvati previously came in sixth place on "Survivor: Cook Islands" and now she is the "Sole Survivor".

In this edition the art of blindsiding were shown by castaways. This edition is also has one of the most emotional tribal council in Survivor history.

Parvati defeated former Survivor: China castaway Amanda Kimmel by a 5-3 margin during the final Tribal Council jury vote. The finale marked first time since Survivor: Panama, the show's twelfth season, that a Survivor edition had ended with a Final 2 instead of a Final 3.


Until now, every time I remember the dumbest move by Eric. It makes me laugh.

At the end of the finale, host Jeff Probst revealed the series will return to Africa for its 17th season and feature 18 contestants living among wildlife. "Survivor: Gabon — Earth's Last Eden".
