Rihanna will appear in the next hearing, says Lawyer

The prosecutors have informed Rihanna's lawyer that his client will be receiving a subpoena to testify for June 22 preliminary hearing over the assault charges against ex-beau Chris Brown.

Attorney Donald Etra said that Rihanna will appear and will take the stand.

Rihanna's lawyer said, "The DA told me Rihanna will be subpoenaed. I will accept on her behalf. She will appear in court, and if asked to testify, she will do so."

Brown who pleaded not guilty for assault and criminal threats against Rihanna was denied by the court over their motion to get and determine the people responsible for the photograph leaked of a battered Rihanna to the media.
