Australian actor Chris Hemsworth has been chosen to play Thor in this Marvel's live-action film adaptation of the classic comic book series.

It is previously rumored that their interested on the services of Josh Hartnett to play the villain role "Loki" which is labeled as the God of Mischief and has mission to get rid of Thor.
