Forest Whitaker is on negotiation to star in indie drama "Little Treasure".
According to variety, the story is about an American couple who returns to the wife's homeland of China. It focuses on the couple dealing with prejudices, humor, cultural differences and self-discovery while meeting a Shanghai street kid who changes their lives."Filming begins next month in Shanghai and Michael D. Olmos will helm the project.
