Nicollette Sheridan suing "Desperate Housewives" creator for Assault and wrongful termination

The nasty and ugly truth/reason about Nicollette Sheridan's departure in the hit TV series "Desperate Housewives" is now out!

Sheridan is suing the show's creator Marc Cherry after he allegedly struck Sheridan across the head and face on the set, then she was fired.
According to TMZ, Nicollette is suing for assault and battery, gender violence and wrongful termination.

Sheridan claims Cherry created a hostile work environment from the get go, "behaving in an extremely abusive and aggressive manner toward the individuals who work on the show."

Sheridan says during the 5th season, Cherry put her in his cross hairs. She claims on September 24, 2008, he physically assaulted her after she questioned him about something in the script. According to the lawsuit, "Cherry took her aside and forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head."
Sheridan reveals that her fellow co-star Teri Hatcher also has problem with the creator. In a previous incident, Teri went above his head to complain about him and the creator allegedly said, "I hope Teri Hatcher gets hit by a car and dies."

Sheridan is suing Marc Cherry for more than $20 million.

Sheridan aka Edie Britt left Wisteria Lane in the fifth season following her character's death.
