Cesar Montano’s son found dead; initial report suicide

It is supposed to be an exciting day for "The Great Raid" actor Cesar Montano as the Philippine local election kicks off but it became tragic after his 23 year-old son apparently committed suicide in their home in Quezon City.

Initial report that actor's son Christian Angelo shot himself in the head with a .45 pistol inside their home along Yakal Street, Tivoli Royale subdivision in Barangay Batasan Hills around 6 a.m.

A household helper found Christian in the kitchen floor and he was rushed to Malvar Hospital in Quezon City but he was declared dead upon arrival.

The police are now investigating if his death is a suicide or it was cause by foul play.

Cesar Montano and actrees/wife Sunshine Cruz are reportedly on the way to Manila . She is running for governor of Bohol province under the Liberal Party in the May 10 elections.

Christian Angelo is Montano's son with his first wife Marilyn Polinga.
