Michael Jackson's farewell service will be held at LA's Staples Center on July 7

The memorial farewell service for music icon Michael Jackson will be held at LA's Staples Center on Tuesday July 7 at 10 am.

11,000 tickets will be available to the general public and all tickets will be free of charge.

The King of Pop died at age 50 after suffering cardiac arrest last June 25.
