Former ‘Idol’ Contestant Alexis Cohen found Dead; she is 25

Alexis Cohen aka "Glitter Girl", famous for flippin' the bird in American Idol and failing twice in AI auditions (2008 & 2009), was found dead on the streets of Allentown, July 25.

A 25-year-old Allentown, Pa. woman and former contestant on the television show American Idol was struck by a car and killed in Seaside Heights early Saturday morning in an apparent homicide, authorities said.

Alexis Cohen was found dead at the edge of Dupont Avenue near Bay Boulevard at about 4 a.m., said Deputy Chief Michael Mohel of the Ocean County Prosecutors Office.

She will be remembered as one of the funny-weird character in AI auditions who delivered some laughs when she curse Simon Cowell.
