Alicia Silverstone on Brodway's "Time Stands Still"

PETA activist-actress Alicia Silverstone is set to joined the cast of of the Broadway play "Time Stands Still".

According to Variety, "In the play about the right to personal happiness in a world of suffering, Linney plays a photojournalist struggling to readjust to domestic life in New York after she and her foreign correspondent partner return from a war zone. Silverstone plays the seemingly superficial girlfriend of the couple's magazine writer friend."

Directed by Daniel Sullivan, scheduled previews on Jan. 5 at Manhattan Theater Club’s Samuel J. Friedman Theater.
