Charlie Sheen's plea deal, 30 Days in Jail

Charlie Sheen decided to take the plea deal with no contest to misdemeanor assault and will be sentenced to 30 days in jail.
According to TMZ, Charlie will enter a no contest plea to 3rd degree assault and immediately begin serving time. The felony menacing charge against Charlie will be dismissed. He will be sentenced to 30 days but with good time credit it will be whittled down to 17 days, and two of the 17 days will be minimal. Once he completes his jail stint, he'll be a free man -- no probation.
Charlie doesn't want to go probation due to restrictions and it seems a several days in jail is an easy way out.

The Two and a Half Men star had been charged with felony menacing, misdemeanor third-degree assault and misdemeanor criminal mischief following the Christmas Day altercation with his wife Brooke Mueller.

Court hearing is set on June 7.
