NFL Hall of Fame legend Lawrence Taylor was formally indicted on rape charges over at incident at Holiday Inn in Ramapo, New York (May 6) in which he allegedly hired a 16-year old prostitute.
Taylor is facing two felony counts (3rd degree rape and a 3rd degree criminal sexual act) and three misdemeanor charges (endangering the welfare of a child, patronizing a prostitute, and 3rd degree sexual abuse).
The 51 year-old claims that he had no idea that the girl was underage and he did not engage in sexual intercourse but he paid her $300. Reportedly, planning of using masturbation as his defense.
Lawrence’s agent Mark Lepselter says their legal team “made a strategic decision to not put any of our evidence in front of the grand jury. We look forward to presenting our evidence at the appropriate time.”
