Angelina Jolie is selling like cup cakes as she now in a mega talk deal with Fox 2000 and author Patricia Cornwell for Jolie will play as Dr. Kay Scarpetta.
Based on Cornwell’s bestselling series of books, which evolves the story of a beautiful, hard-charging medical examiner who solves crimes.
Jolie is currently busy shooting Columbia Pictures "Salt". She will also do "Kung Fu Panda" sequel and s "Wanted" sequel.

Variety reports, "The studio is acquiring screen rights to Cornwell's bestselling book series on medical examiner Dr. Kay Scarpetta, to develop as a vehicle for Jolie.With the 16 Scarpetta novels under its series, their hoping and thought the movie could eventually be extended into a franchise movie.
Mark Gordon will produce with Media Talent Group's Geyer Kosinski. The studio, producers and Jolie are meeting with writers and will set one shortly. Bryan Zuriff will serve as exec producer."
