Hayden Panettiere's advocacy is to protect animals from human violence but in case of her father, it's another story.
Hayden's father Alan Panettiere is now on bail ($50,000) after he was arrested for domestic violence. Alan struck Hayden's mom Lesley Panettiere more than two times on the cheek that cause some bruises.
Alan was arrested at 3:15 a.m. at the family's West Hollywood home and spent about 10 hours in Los Angeles County sheriff's custody.
