David Beckham: "I’m incredibly proud to be part of the ceremony"

David Beckham is surely flying to China to participate in the closing ceremonies of the Olympics. The soccer superstar is representing London, the next city to host the 2012 Summer Olympics.

“The Galaxy have the weekend off, so I’m going to fly to Beijing for the handover ceremony as the Olympic torch is handed to London at the end of the Games. I’m honored to be invited and, as someone who is passionate about the Olympics coming to my home city, I’m incredibly proud to be part of the ceremony on Sunday.
