Elle Style Icon Kate Hudson discuss style views on the April 2008 issue of British Elle Magazine. She also talk about some fashion perception and relationship.
On Style Icons: “A style icon are women who remain true to a signature style, like Anita Pallenberg, Bianca Jagger - and of course my mum Goldie Hawn. I like people to have personal style.”
On her signature look: “I’m not into the trampy look. I like to mis-match. I like a look that is not too thought out. I plan to wear as little as possible for as long as I can. I know I won’t have this body forever, she says. and I would like to have another child some day.”
On her own personal style: "I love clothes! But I would never put something on just because it's high fashion. . . I like people to have personal style. . . I'm not into the trampy look. I like to mismatch. I like a look that is not too thought out!" On what she'll be wearing this Spring: "Right now I'm in love with colour! Particularly purple. I just bought a purple Dolce sweater. The other color I love for spring is cobalt blue. And that peachy skin-tone colour."
On her relationship with Chris: "The other day I told someone my husband was coming over and they said, 'You mean your ex-husband'. I do love my ex. Whatever man I end up with, I'll always love Chris."
My visit left me even more deeply convinced that we not only have a moral obligation to help displaced Iraqi families, but also a serious, long-term, national security interest in ending this crisis.
Today's humanitarian crisis in Iraq -- and the potential consequences for our national security -- are great. Can the United States afford to gamble that 4 million or more poor and displaced people, in the heart of Middle East, won't explode in violent desperation, sending the whole region into further disorder?
What we cannot afford, in my view, is to squander the progress that has been made. In fact, we should step up our financial and material assistance. UNHCR has appealed for $261 million this year to provide for refugees and internally displaced persons. That is not a small amount of money -- but it is less than the U.S. spends each day to fight the war in Iraq. I would like to call on each of the presidential candidates and congressional leaders to announce a comprehensive refugee plan with a specific timeline and budget as part of their Iraq strategy. Hayden Panettiere share her views, heroes advocacy, love and life experiences in the April 2008 issue of Seventeen magazine.
Some interview excerpts:
On what she looks for in a guy: “I have to be with someone who’s driven. When they’re not, it becomes difficult. In a lot of relationships, you get in and you spend every waking moment with that person. But I’ve figured out that the healthiest relationship is where you each have your own life, but they meet in a nice point in the middle.”
On breaking up with Stephen Colletti: “I just knew I wanted to breathe. I wanted to be single at the time. It just hit me like a ton of bricks: This is the time I need to be with myself. It takes such a secure person to be with someone like me—it takes so much confidence; it takes so much trust.”
On wanting to be girly and just have fun: “If I was a wonderful person, I’d run around in whatever clothes and have one outfit – and then I’d donate the rest of the money to charity. But no one is perfect, and no one is saying you have to give up everything in your life to change the world.” On being outspoken: “I don’t need to prove myself to anyone. I’m not that kind of person. I know myself much better now than I did [before]. And my opinions of things and my morals – I am not as easily swayed as I used to be. And when you learn to accept yourself, the more you learn to be okay with yourself and know yourself, the easier it is to love somebody and allow them to love you.”
On what it was like fighting whalers in Japan: “It was great! There’s very little that scares me. I’ve always been a physical person. And I feel like a lot of time in this industry, a lot of people loan their face to a cause, which is great, but it doesn’t do as much as getting out there and actually physically doing something.”
R&B singer and songwriter Ne-Yo arrived in Manila yesterday for a two day concert at the Big Dome today (February 29, 2008) and March 1, 2008 Saturday at 8:00pm.

Spice Girls bids goodbye on their final live appearance in Toronto.
The Spice Girls post their farewell message in their Spice blog.
Hello...
Our time is up... we've come to the end of the road… there are tears of both sadness and joy. Look how far we've come!
Who would have thought that our reunion could have turned out to be this amazing? It just shows what can grow out of an exciting thought, an idea, a hope, a dream. Yes, our reunion tour is proof that dreams do come true.
We have been lucky enough to have shared it with the most loyal fans in the world. Ten years on, you came back still wanting more… and it looks like we made some new friends along the way. You have inspired and ignited us with each show, the 47 that we performed, each time was amazing and it is thanks to you.
So we look to the future with hope and imagination and let Girl Power live on through all of you as it will continue in us and the future generations to come.
We have learnt so much through you and through each other.
"Never give up on the good times always believe in the love you find."
We hate goodbyes but sadly the time has come to take our final bow so maybe our song says it best:
"Goodbye my friend, it's not the end… So glad we made it, time will never ever change it… "
Presidential candidate Barack Obama answers some interesting question from US Weekly.
Some excerpts from the interview:
How familiar are you with Us Weekly? My wife reads it.
Do your daughters Sasha and Malia ever ask about Britney Spears? Actually, yeah. But they're very sensible. They're pretty down on Britney and Paris and all of that. They think that's very "yuck." They're way more into Hannah Montana and Beyonce. They got to go backstage and meet Beyonce and they just love her to death.
Your supporters include Oprah Winfrey. Ever been starstruck? I don't really get starstruck. Everyone I've met has been very nice and friendly, like Kal Penn. During the writers' strike, he was like a staffer! And Scarlett Johansson has been traveling a lot. George Clooney is a good friend. He and I worked on Darfur issues together. I'm always impressed by people who do their homework... and use their celebrity to advocate for issues. George does that just about as well as anyone I know.
So, boxers or briefs? Bill Clinton said he wore boxers in a 1992 interview with MTV. I don't answer those humiliating questions. But whichever one it is, I look good in 'em!
I know that you been waitin' for it I'm waitin' too In my imagination I be all up on you I know you got that fever for me hundred and two And boy I know I feel the same My temperature's through the roof

You can put me on you like a brand new white tee I'll hug your body tighter than my favorite jeans I want you to caress me like a tropical breeze And float away with you in a Caribbean sea

A new Angel Locsin arises in the March 2008 issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine Philippines. This will be her third time to grace the cover of the said magazine and also this is her first time to pose wearing a swimsuit.
Is this means that she will accepts more mature, daring and heavy acting roles in the future? Is this a goodbye for teen flicks roles?
According to PEP, Despite being one of the biggest names in the industry today, Angel was surprisingly shy at the Cosmo cover shoot, getting quite jittery over the sexy summer shoot and clowning around with the Cosmo team just to loosen up. The jitters don't show in Angel's confident pose, as she says, "Lahat naman tayong mga babae, may body issues, di ba? But you should be happy with your body and comfortable in your own skin." For Angel, being comfortable in your own skin shows in the way you carry yourself. She encourages Cosmo girls everywhere to make an effort to always look presentable and even dare to be kikay.
"Iba rin yung feeling ‘pag nakaayos kapag lalabas ka't alam mong okay ang itsura mo, ready kang harapin kahit sino." Angel points out, "It's great to be in jeans and T-shirt, but it's also great to be in a dress."
Angel continues to strive towards becoming a better version of herself by branching out of her comfort zone. Since 2007, she has taken time off to study fashion in London, become a first-time producer with the movie Angels, and is now learning how to play the guitar. "You have to keep on learning," she says, "You shouldn't get complacent." Clearly, Angel has become a woman of substance.

Tyson says, "Jamie Foxx and I will be working together. He will play me in the film about my life. We already talked about it several times."
Tyson also insists he is finally free of drugs for the first time in years. He says, "Even when I was training for a fight, there were no drugs, but I would drink. I had never been clean and sober my whole life. This is the first time. I'm tired of losing. I lost the trust of my family, my five kids. I didn't like that way of life and decided to change. I saw the devil and didn't want that."
