Tom Cruise is a hit playing spy in his movies but it seems his effectiveness in spying continues even off cam. Cruise is being accused of spying by Michael Davis Sapir.
In the latest charges, Sapir is asking for $5 million.
Bert Fields tells TMZ, "The allegations are absolute garbage. We did not even hire Pellicano to work on the Sapir case."
According to court documents via TMZ, "Michael Davis Sapir, claims Cruise, attorney Bert Fields and jailed private investigator Anthony Pellicano conspired to spy on him."In 2001, Sapir claimed that he had a video proving his "homosexual relationship" with Cruise. The "Mission: Impossible" star sued Sapir for $US100 million but the charges was dropped as they reached a settlement and both parties acknowledged that the tape did not exist.
"Pellicano illegally wiretapped his phone during the time the 2001 lawsuit was active."
