The late Heath Ledger won Golden Globe best supporting actor award

The late Heath Ledger's amazing creepy performance as the Joker in the Batman blockbuster "The Dark Knight" won him best supporting dramatic actor in the Golden Globe Awards.

Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan accepted Ledger's posthumous award, and said he did so with "a mixture of sadness and incredible pride." and added "After Heath passed, you saw a hole ripped in the future of cinema."

This award will boost the campaign of winning the supporting-actor honor at the Academy Awards next month.
