The Masters of the Universe will be returning to the big screen with John Stevenson as the director and Joel Silver as the producer of this live action movie.
According to Variety, it will revolve around He-Man, a prince who transforms into a warrior and becomes the last hope for a magical land being ravaged by the evil Skeletor.They will try to boost once more the popularity of the 80's icon and take advantage of on ongoing trend in branded toy-line properties.
The property was previously turned into a campy flop by Cannon Films in 1987, with Dolph Lungdren as He-Man and "Frost/Nixon" star Frank Langella as the villainous Skeletor.
