Former MLB All-Star Jose Lima was found dead after suffering cardiac arrest at his home in Pasadena. He was 37.
Initially ruled as a heart attack, Lima's wife Dorca Astacio told ESPNdeportes,
"Jose was complaining while sleeping and I just thought he was having a nightmare. I called the paramedics, but they couldn't help him."
Lima was selected to the All-Star Game with Houston in 1999 and it is also the year he won 21 games in that season. Lima spent 13 seasons with five different teams: Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets.
