Veteran actor Dennis Hopper has passed away due to complications from his prostate cancer. He died at his home in Venice, California. He was 74 years-old.
His final days are chaotic due to the divorce battle with his fifth wife, Victoria Duffy. Early this year he filed for divorce to end his 14-year marriage.
Dennis Hopper is s best known for directing and starring in the 1969 cult classic "Easy Rider" in which it received nominations d for an Academy Award. In 1998, Easy Rider was added to the United States National Film Registry, having been deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."
Some of his other films are "Blue Velvet," "Rebel Without a Cause," "Apocalypse Now" and "Hoosiers."
