GMA-7 primetime star Carla Abellana is the latest cover girl for Cosmopolitan magazine Philippines September 2009 issue. The "Rosalinda" star opens up about sacrificing her love life for a while for her career, dealing with pressure and many more.
Here's some highlights of her interview:
Carla on her breakup with JC Intal: "We're still in good terms, he has agreed to give me time and space. We still have open communication and we're still very close. It's actually the most difficult sacrifice I had to do. But he understands that we're young, we have all the time in the world, sa ngayon work lang talaga muna."
Carla on dealing with pressure.: "I'm taking things one day at a time and trying not to think much of the future and what else can happen. It's all been very difficult, but I’m dealing with it with prayers, positive thinking, and counting on my family and friends for support."
The smart, sweet, and sassy actress signed a 12-picture contract with Regal Films, with three films lined up this year: "Ang Nanay kong Aswang", "Nieves The Engkanto Slayer" and Mano Po 6. She also also scheduled to do a drama flick "The Other Man".
She is also the latest co-host in the fifth edition of the GMA's reality-based artista search (over-all talent competition) "StarStruck".
