David Hasselhoff's camp: ear infection not alcohol poisoning

After being reported once again for alcohol poisoning.....once more, David Hasselhoff's camp denies the allegations and they claimed that David's trip to the hospital is due to an ear infection.

Hasselhoff's attorney Mel Goldsman tells PEOPLE, "This was all a misunderstanding. David was being treated for an inner ear infection and had a bad reaction to his medication over the weekend. He lost his equilibrium and it left him dizzy. This was not an alcohol relapse. David was taken to Encino Hospital on Sunday and released within the hour. He's fine now and looking forward to doing his jury duty this week."

David Hasselhoff's daughter Hayley Hasselhoff is the one who called for help after seeing his dad excessively drunk.

David Hasselhoff is a recovering alcoholic.....
