The 2009 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival and Competition is extending the submission of entries to Feb. 27 for the short feature category. All interested filmmakers must submit their entries at Media Arts Division of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, 4th Floor, CCP Main Building, CCP Complex, Pasay City.
The ten deserving entries will be announced on May 8 and it will be shown at the 2009 Cinemalaya on July 17 to 26 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP).
The winner of the Best Short Film award will receive a P100,000 cash grant and the Cinemalaya Balanghai trophy on the Cinemalaya Awards night on July 26.
