Actor Joey Marquez's graft and estafa charges about textbook anomaly, dismissed

Filipino Actor-former Parañaque Mayor Joey Marquez has something to smile about even if he has no existing shows in GMA network. Marquez was cleared by the Sandiganbayan from the graft and estafa charges in 1998 for P6.41 million textbook anomaly.

The prosecution failed to prove and give strong evidence to the anti-graft court about the false representation claims charges filed by textbook suppliers Kejo Educational System, Merylvin Publishing House and Southern Christian Commercial represented by complainant Lizabeth C. Carreon.

Marquez can now a gave a small sign of relief but still there's another five counts of graft pending on him.
