It's an international flavor combination on Sylvester Stallone's first project from his two-picture deal with Nu Image/Millennium Films.
Reportedly, Stallone will direct his original work entitled "The Expendables". Stars like Jet Li, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, UFC Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture and Juliana Paes will join him in this forthcoming film.
The story follows an “expendable” team of mercenaries, hired to do jobs that no one else can or will, who are sent to infiltrate a South American country to overthrow the ruthless dictator and liberate the country.
Shoots will be in Costa Rica and Louisiana, Feb. 2009
