Michael Jackson needs lung transplant, Jackson's camp denies the illness “total fabrication”

After his recent lawsuit troubles in his career, Michael Jackson is again in trouble. The superstar is now having trouble with his health. He is deeply need a lung transplant.

According to his biographer, Ian Halperin via the British Sun, claimed that "[Michael] battling a genetic disease that has left him almost blind, needed a lung transplant, has emphysema and chronic gastrointestinal bleeding."

The said genetic disorder is called A1AD — alpha-1 anti-trypsin deficiency. Sufferers lack a protein which protects the lungs.

Jacko’s brother Jermained confirmed: “He’s not doing so well right now. This isn’t a good time.

UPDATE: Michael Jackson's rep, Dr. Tohme, has issued the following statement denying the said illness and calling it a “total fabrication”.

“Concerning this author’s allegations, we would hope in the future that legitimate media will not continue to be exploited by such an obvious attempt to promote this unauthorized ‘biography,’ The writer’s wild allegations concerning Mr. Jackson’s health are a total fabrication. Mr. Jackson is in fine health and finalizing negotiations with a major entertainment company and television network for both a world tour and a series of specials and appearances.”
