Weekend Box Office : "The Dark Knight" reached the $300 million mark

"The Dark Knight" continues to dominate the box office. It has reach the $300 million plus mark in just 10 days. The cape crusader overtakes "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" record which took 16 days to make $300 million.

This new Batman installment can surely break the record of "Shrek 2" who reach $400 million mark in about 18 days in 2004.

The latest Batman installment already had broken records for best opening weekend at $158.4 million and best single-day with $66.4 million. It's also busted records in its showings on IMAX screens, making $16.3 million in its first 10 days.
