The administration of President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III wants to show to the public that discipline must start in his family and no one can escape the law even in a simple traffic violations.
The driver of actress-TV host Kris Aquino, the President's youngest sister, was cited by MMDA traffic enforcers for obstruction after parking in front of the gate of ABS-CBN Friday morning (April 13).
Kris reportedly told her driver to "obey the law and accept the traffic tickets if he is indeed guilty of obstruction."
Kris tweeted, "Yes, mario my driver has a ticket from MMDA. He double parked in Sgt Esguerra, in front of ABS. I told him, kasalanan mo so dapat we should be the 1st to obey traffic/parking rules."
President Aquino's popularity is still up and he continuously receiving good comments for obeying traffic rules and refusing to use blinkers and blaring sirens to counterflow traffic.
