Fantasia Barrino Drug Overdose!; Fantasia is now "Doing Fine", dad says

'American Idol' Fantasia Barrino, who is now facing accusations of having an "adulterous affair" with a married man and a sex tape, was rushed to the hospital in North Carolina on Monday night (August 9) after a drug overdose of "aspirin and a sleep aid".

Fantasia's manger Brian Dickens released a statement saying, Fantasia was "overwhelmed by the lawsuit and the media attention" surrounding her relationship with Antwaun Cook (married to Paula Cook).

The statement continues, "Last night, Fantasia was hospitalized. She took an overdose of aspirin and a sleep aid. Her injuries are not life threatening. She was dehydrated and exhausted at the time. Fantasia is stable now. She will be released from the hospital soon."

Paula Cook accuses her husband Antwaun Cook and Fantasia Barrino of having an affair which began in August 2009.

Fantasia recently released a statement defending herself, saying that she is "not responsible for the deterioration of [their] marriage (Paula & Antwaun)."

UPDATE: Fantasias father Joseph Barrino told radaronline that his daughter is now "doing fine".
