ABS-CBN filed a 27-page defense on Tuesday with regards to claims made by GMA Network that it distorted the facts from the AGB Nielsen’s affidavit.
Included in their 27-page defense, ABS-CBN said it quoted AGB Nielsen Media Research when the firm's manager, Maya Reforma, linked GMA-7 to the alleged manipulation of the TV ratings.
ABS-CBN asserted the accuracy of its reports regarding the TV ratings issue.
The defense was in response to the defamation case filed by GMA Network against ABS-CBN, its executives and talents after the network allegedly aired news reports considered libelous to GMA-7.

"There’s really no basis in what they’re saying and we pointed that out in the answers. Wala tayong binago. We just reported the news, puro katotohanan lang ang ibinanggit natin (We didn't alter anything…our statements are true)," said ABS-CBN lawyer Vincent Bayhon.
