Hong Kong pop star Jacky Cheung has returned fire and blasted the Philippines consulate for listing him as a "substandard employer".
The Philippines consulate banned Cheung from hiring maids from the Philippines after sacking 21 employees in just three years.
Jacky Cheung claims and he said he has been a good boss and is justified in dismissing staff if they fail to reach his standards.
He also said, "An employer can fire an employee if he or she fails to perform, whilst an employee can also resign if he or she is not happy about the employer.
"Is there anything wrong if we fire a maid when we find out that she is not helpful?".
Firing 21 maids in 3 years is surely Mr. Cheung has something wrong or a big problem to his ego.
