A historic 14-0 sweep in UAAP actions. Dindo Pumaren and the warriors climb the ladder of glory and sweeping the elimination round. But before they they got the sweep, the warriors need to win the last game from the De La Salle Archers. The UE Warriors won by overtime 92 - 84 but before the final buzzer a first quarter trouble erupted. A hard foul by Maierhofer on Mark Borboran led to some shoving and pushing in front of the La Salle Bench until Bryan Ilad of La Salle trow a punch hitting Mark Fampulme from behind, what a cheap shot! I thought Kid Rock and Tommy lee is in the game like their brawl in MTV awards.
The last time UE made to the finals was in 1990, and UST scored last sweep in the UAAP in 1993.
