Failed to keep his mouth shut, a father of an American Idol semifinalist made a bad move of talking about the initial success of his son which resulted being cut from the competition after violating a confidentiality agreement.
Michael Lynche (”Big Mike”) was booted out from the competition after his father revealed to Florida's "The St. Petersburg Times" that he entered the top 24 of American Idol Season 9.
NY post also reports that he has been replaced by another singer from the Top 50 qualifiers.
It's a very bad and sad move. Michael Lynche's dream to be big in this business is instantly gone. Maybe next time when he audition again, the best way is not to tell his father right away.
