52nd Grammy Awards Winners List
As expected Beyonce and Taylor Swift are the big winners at the 52nd Grammy Awards. Beyonce won six awards, including song of the year for her hit single "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)". Beyonce's six wins created the recognition for most awards by a female in one night in the history of the Grammy awards.
Taylor Swift won four awards including Grammy album of the year for "Fearless". Lady Gaga won best dance album and dace recording.

Judy Ann Santos' "Habang May Buhay" airs Feb. 1
Actress Judy Ann Santos is the face of ABS-CBN's celebration of the 60th Year of Pinoy Soap Opera and she's back in primetime starting tonight with "Habang May Buhay" opposite Derek Ramsay.
Judy Ann will play the role of Jane Alcantara, a struggling nurse who faces the challenges of life head on despite being surrounded by people who keep pulling her down. Eventually Jane will fall in love with the man that had a hand in the burdens she and her family is experiencing.
Cast includes Melanie Marquez, Jeffrey Santos, Marc Abaya, RJ Ledesma, Dominique Roque, Jaymee Joaquin, Kian Kazemi, and GeeAnn Abrahan. With special participation of Sid Lucero, Matet de Leon, Ina Feleo, Bangs Garcia, and Lloyd Samartino.

Cast of Jersey Shore Returns for Season 2
The negotiations is over! The cast of “Jersey Shore” will be back for a second season this summer.
MTV released a statement, "Pauly Delvecchio, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “J-WOWW” Farley, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, Ronnie Margo and Vinny Guadagnino will all 'escape the cold Northeast and find themselves in a new destination' for season 2".
No details about exact number but it was previously reported that $10,000 an episode was offered.
12 more episodes will begin airing this summer.

ABC picks up "Melissa & Joey'" (Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence)
Melissa Joan Hart aka the Teenage 'Mother' Witch is moving back to television with her new comedy series “Melissa & Joey” with Joey Lawrence.

According to THR, the series centers on a political dynasty wild child-turned-politician (Hart) who takes in her teenage niece and pre-adolescent nephew when her sister goes to prison and her brother-in-law flees. She turns for help to a guy (Lawrence), who, desperate for a job, moves in and becomes the family's "manny."ABC ordered a 10-episode and it is schedule to premiere later this year.

Elmore "Rip" Torn arrested for breaking into a bank with a loaded gun
Award-winning actor Elmore "Rip" Torn is reportedly intoxicated and was arrested for allegedly breaking into a bank with a loaded revolver.
Police responded to an alarm from Litchfield Bancorp building Friday night 9:40 p.m. and they arrested Torn after allegedly forced entry to the said establishment. They found him "with a loaded revolver and was highly intoxicated."
According to Register Citizen, "Torn was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, carrying a firearm while intoxicated, first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree criminal mischief."
He is currently being held on a $100,000 cash bond, and is set to appear in court Monday, Feb. 1
It is not the first time for the "Men in Black" star, he has a dismissed 2004 drunken driving charge, and a guilty plea in 2008 of being "ability impaired" while driving a vehicle.

Statement released via their website, "Phil Harris suffered a stroke while in port off-loading from the F/V Cornelia Marie. He has been transported to a medical facility and is receiving the best care possible. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and we will make more information available as we know it."

Daniel Craig is set for "Cowboys and Aliens"
Dreamworks and Universal has secured the services of Daniel Craig to star in the comic book film "Cowboys and Aliens".
Craig will star in an adaptation of Fred Van Lente's graphic novel that was published by Platinum Studios - Deadline.
Craig will play the leader of the cowboys who will unite with the Native Americans to help fight off an invasion of aliens.
Craig's role was originally set for Robert Downey Jr. but he decided to dropped to continue to work on the sequel for Sherlock Holmes.

After announcing the Lady Gaga comic book, "Twilight" actor Robert Pattinson is the next subject in a 32-page comic for the "Fame" series by Bluewater Comic.
The comic focused on the “culturally relevant celebrities and other pop culture icons.”
The comic book will tell the story of his first performance in Tess of the D'Urbervilles at London’s Barnes Theatre to his breakout roles in the Twilight movies.
Future issues includes 50 Cent, David Beckham and Taylor Swift.

Excitement are emerging as ABS-CBN is still head to head with GMA Network and now TV5 is slowly forming its position as one of the top competitors in Philippine television with their newly acquired talents like Paolo Bediones and Cherly Cosim.
Two big names from GMA network are being rumored about transferring to another network but they quickly shot down the said rumors.
In her PEP interview, GMA's primetime queen Marian Rivera denies her transfer to ABS-CBN when her contract expires, "Hindi ako lilipat kasi masaya ako sa GMA-7. Hindi nila ako pinababayan at marami akong work". (I will not transfer because I'm happy with GMA and they really take care of me and I've lots of work)
Controversial GMA-7 executive Wilma Galvante also denies her transfer to Manny Pangilinan's TV5.
One sure thing is Annabelle Rama is not happy with Wilma Galvante not leaving GMA-7.
