The vampire-themed love story thriller "Twilight" is feeding on the ticket sales in weekend box office capturing the top spot with $70.6 million.
Catherine Hardwicke's film also enjoyed the biggest opening ever for a female director, surpassing away the previous $41.1 million set by Mimi Leder's "Deep Impact" in 1998.
