Emilio Garcia and Sid Lucero won Best Actor in the 49th Thessaloniki International Film Festival

Two actors tied for the first time as the Festival's Best Actor in Thessaloniki International Film Festival 49-year history and it was took home by two Filipinos.

Emilio Garcia and Sid Lucero, lead stars of the indie film “Selda (international title: The Inmate)” was both proclaimed Best Actor during the 49th Thessaloniki International Film Festival held in Greece, Nov. 23, 2008.

"Selda" is about a young man (Sid) who is imprisoned and develops a close relationship with another prisoner (Emilio).

Paolo Villaluna and Ellen Ramos are co-directors in this film.
