After his heart attack during their reunion concert, former Eraserheads vocalist Ely Buendia underwent again another angioplasty procedure yesterday morning at the Philippine Heart Center. This is his 3rd time to do this procedure.
Buendia's manager Day Cabuhat said that Ely is now "100 percent fully-restored and now recovering" after the said procedure.
Ely’s wife Diane said, “He’s OK. He’s in stable condition."
In 2007, Ely also suffered a heart attack while his new band Pupil was performing in Laguna. He underwent two angioplasty procedures at the PHC.
Angioplasty procedures is a surgical operation where narrowed or blocked arteries are widened.
