Katrina who played Angelika was very effective in her role in Marimar. Now, GMA Network is eying her to be the lead role for a new drama series.
She is now being tap to play the role originally done by Dina Bonnevie in the film Magdusa Ka, the 1986 movie of Viva Films directed by Eddie Garcia and the said series will be air in Dramarama Sa Hapon block.
Dennis Trillo will joined her in this new soap and their tapping the services of Maryo J. de los Reyes to be the director of this upcoming series.
Magdusa Ka will be the eight Sine Novela of GMA-7.
