The rest of the Harry Potter crew can't magic its way to 3D for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1".
Warner Bros. announced that the seventh installment will go out in regular 2D after they could not complete a successful 2D-to-3D conversion in time for the movie's release next month.
Warner Bros. has released a statement: "Despite everyone's best efforts, we were unable to convert the film in its entirety and meet the highest standards of quality. We do not want to disappoint fans who have long-anticipated the conclusion of this extraordinary journey, and to that end, we are releasing our film day-and-date on Nov. 19, 2010 as planned."
For the second part, it remains in 2-D and 3-D on both regular screens and IMAX for the July 15, 2011 release.
