Rhys Ifans will be the new addition in the 7th installment of the Harry Potter franchise. The Welsh actor announced on "Friday Night with Jonathan Ross" that he will play a role in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" but he didn't reveal the character.
According to Wiki, Rhys Ifans will play the role of Xenophilius Lovegood, father of Luna, Harry's classmate. He is also the editor-in-chief of The Quibbler, a magazine that often publishes stories about wild conspiracy theories or research on seemingly non-existent creatures. He is introduced as a friend of the Weasleys in Deathly Hallows, when he attends the wedding of Fleur Delacour and Bill Weasley, described as eccentric looking; he is slightly cross-eyed, with shoulder-length white hair the texture of candyfloss. Xenophilius wears the symbol of the Deathly Hallows around his neck as a way of symbolising his willingness to help other believers of the Hallows in their quest to obtain them.
