Metro Manila TV Ratings (June 27-29 '08) GMA's Pacquiao vs. Diaz: Lethal Combination broke record.

Even though GMA's telecast of Pacquiao vs. Diaz: Lethal Combination is delayed and raining lots of commercial, it still a knockout hit like her 9th round KO to David Diaz.

The historical fight generated a whopping 63.8 percent to rule the daytime race. It also broke the record of the Pacquiao-Larios match in ABS-CBN.

This is based on the overnight ratings conducted by AGB Nielsen Philippines among Mega Manila households.

The cast of the much awaited Philippine version of the hit Colombian series Yo soy, Betty la Fea are now revealed.

Starring in ABS-CBN's “I Love Betty La Fea” are Bea Alonzo as Maria Beatriz Aurora "Betty" Pinzón Solano, Ruffa Gutierrez will play the role of Daniela Valencia (the jealous girlfriend of Armando) and many are asking, who will play Armando's character? Still they haven't revealed the name yet.

Pinoy Idol Top 11 Result Show : Mae Flores ended her journey

Another disappointing result happened in Pinoy Idol Top 11 result night held at the Centerstage of SM Mall of Asia. Mae Flores, the idol hopeful from Marikina was booted out of the competition.

She sang "If I Didn’t Love You" by Tina Arena in the last performance night and she got unfavorable comments from the three judges.

Toffer Rei, Warren Astig and Mae are the three bottom vote-getters.

Miley Cyrus' “7 Things” Music Video and Lyrics

Checkout Miley Cyrus' new music video for "7 Things" from her upcoming studio album, Breakout.

7 Things is written by herself, Antonina Armato, and Tim James. Miley described the song as "therapy" for her.

The music video was shot in Los Angeles with director Brett Ratner. It features Miley and other heartbroken girls using the lyrics to attack their respective exes. In the song are the seven things that she hates about her ex-boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus is still hurting about the Vanity Fair photos as she opens up in Billboard latest issue.

Pacquiao not quite as aggressive in this round, but is still landing what he throws. They wrestle in the center. Diaz warned for hitting behind the head. Good left to the head by Pacquiao. Short right inside by Pacquiao. Diaz lands a jab and then a right hand. Three-punch combination inside by Pacquiao and then a hard right to the head. Drakulich calls time to have the cut checked. He lets it continue.

Three-punch combination inside by Pacquiao, who just gets off so much quicker. They clinch in the middle. Diaz pops a jab. Pacquiao lands an uppercut and then a right.

Pacquiao opens with a couple of hard punches to the head. How much punishment is the corner going to let Diaz take? They need to think of stopping it now. Diaz seems to have no shot, not even the lucky punch chance to keep his title. Right-left-right by Pacquiao sends Diaz sagging to the ropes. Diaz fights his way off, only to be pummeled in the center of the ring with a blistering combination. Pacquiao raking him along the ropes. This is horrendous. Diaz is taking a frightful beating. Pacquiao continues to batter him with shots. Pacquiao lands a five-punch combination to the head, all of which were hard shots. Left by Pacquiao catches Diaz on the way in. Diaz is wincing.

Pacquiao circles and flicks a couple of jabs. Right hand inside followed by a left sends Diaz down face first. The ref doesn’t even bother to count and waives the fight off at 2:24.

Miley Cyrus : "Every career thing that I do can’t be perfect"

We must give credit on her camp on how they handle the Vanity Fair issue and other spicy photos of Miley Cyrus. The teen sensation looks relax but deep inside she's still hurting and embarrassed, this is how she described it as she opens up in the latest issue of Billboard magazine.

Here's are some interview excerpts:

Miley on Vanity Fair Topless Issue: “I was embarrassed… but also it’s like, every career thing that I do can’t be perfect, and sometimes my decisions are wrong. I think that just makes me even more relatable. I don’t think people will look at me any differently because they’re like,’You know what, I’m going to do stupid stuff too, and I’m going to make mistakes, and that’s fine.’ It still hurts when I think about it.”

Miley on her new album, Breakout: “It’s grown-up. I wrote all the songs except two. My last one, Meet Miley Cyrus, was more just meeting me, finding out who I am, and here it’s more getting in depth of what’s been going on in my life in the past year.”

Miley on Hannah Montana: “It will wrap up, eventually. I mean, I won’t be Hannah Montana by the time I’m 30. But we’ve only done two seasons, so we definitely want to work on that hopefully for another two years.”

Miley on her show recently being highlighted for showcasing a wide range of body types: “I stress about that stuff like everyone else, but at the end of day, I’m a good ol’ Southern girl that likes her Cracker Barrel at 9 o’clock at night and if I want it, gosh darn, I’m going to eat it. I’m not going to make myself miserable. And for so many girls, you don’t want to be thin because you want the guy to think you’re gorgeous or whatever–you do it all for women, you do it all for a competition. That’s so silly, it’s such a game.”

Miley upcoming works: “I’ve been talking to people about some cool movies, but right now I mostly want to stay within my company and keep them happy and keep everything that we’re doing successful and focus on that. I like to do everything that I do 120 percent and unless I can focus hardcore on that, I don’t want to do it yet.”

FHM Philippines released the final results of their 100 Sexiest Women in the World and this year's winner is indeed a surprise because she never been a cover girl of FHM magazine.

The results was sent via Pinoy Entertainment Portal (PEP) and it confirmed that the no.1 sexiest Filipina is GMA's Dyesebel star/primetime queen Marian Rivera. In the second spot is 2-time former no.1 Katrina Halili and in the third spot is ABS-CBN's Angel Locsin (also former no.1 sexiest in 2005).

Ranae Shrider is the leading lady on Verne "Mini Me" Troyer sex tape, TMZ Reports. She is 22 and an aspiring model from Kentucky and she live with Verne for six months.

In a recent development, Verne Troyer fires back with a $20 million lawsuit against TMZ in violation of his rights by publishing and airing portions of his sex tape and a injunction prohibiting further use of the video.

In the suit, filed today in U.S. District Court in downtown L.A., Troyer claims TMZ violated his privacy rights and infringed on his copyright and trademark by running portions of the tape on TMZ TV and TMZ.com. He also alleges TMZ violated his right of publicity and misappropriated his name and likeness.

The said tape was stolen and ended up in the money making hands of Kevin Blatt.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie donated $1 million

The Education Partnership for Children of Conflict proudly announced the charitable things done by the influential couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The couple has donated $1 million to help children affected by the war in Iraq and the other children living in United States.

The foundation will divide and distribute the donation to four organizations. $500,000 will go to three organization (Women for Women International, International Rescue Committee and NineMillion.org) that will provide 5,700 children educational support and personal necessities.

The other half million will go to Armed Services YMCA Operation Hero Program for the US kids in which they'll provide educational programs and counseling.

Marriage counseling for Kris Aquino and James Yap

Kris Aquino's friend/manager Boy Abunda confirmed that Kris and husband PBA player James Yap is indeed split for a while but was able to patch things up and now under marriage counseling.

Naomi Campbell Pleads Guilty for assaulting two police officers

Wearing dark suit and sunglasses entering Uxbridge Magistrates Court in west London, Naomi Campbell pled guilty to assaulting two police officers in London’s Heathrow Airport.

The April incident consist of two counts of assaulting a police, one count of using threatening, abusive words or behavior to cabin crew, and one count of using insulting, abusive, threatening behavior or disorderly conduct.

The assault charge carries a maximum six-month prison sentence and a fine of up to 5,000 pounds (6,300 euros, 9,900 dollars).

Last year Campbell was ordered to spend a week mopping floors at a New York City warehouse for hitting her maid with a mobile phone and she also attended a two-day anger management course

Martha Stewart was denied by the British government for a visa

Controversial Home Guru Martha Stewart was denied by the British government for a visa to enter the United Kingdom. She was denied due to her federal prison record back in 2004 for conspiracy and lying to the Feds.

Reportedly, the 66-year-old businesswoman has an engagements with English companies and business leaders and hopes this can be resolved as soon as possible.

TMZ reports:
The domestic goddess has been turned down for a visa to enter Britain because of her rap sheet. She was reportedly set to tour several areas of the country, as well as tour the Royal Academy of Arts in London.

She was found guilty of conspiracy, making false statements and obstruction of agency proceedings -- all stemming from her sale of stock in biotech company ImClone Systems Inc. on December 27, 2001. She was sentenced to five months in prison and five months of house arrest.
